STUDENT LEADERSHIP ROLES

Otamarakau School is a Year 0-8 full primary school and offers a complete package for children between preschool and high school. Over 98% of our Year 6 students choose to stay at Otamarakau and complete their intermediate years in a full primary school and there are many reasons for that. We give our Year 7 & 8 students many opportunities for leadership at our school.

our senior prefects

Senior prefects  are often the first people visitors will meet. They meet and greet guests.  They act in an official capacity at community events, provide peer support, and assist with PR at events like our ANZAC service, community consultation, parent/teacher evenings, School fishing competition and they organise school discos.
