Uniform/Dress
Students are expected and encouraged to take pride in their general appearance and we also encourage our students to wear the correct uniform. We don't have any of the purple polo shirts available but have the blue t-shirts available. We are waiting for new cotton polo shirts to be confirmed and will let parents know as soon as we know more.
The purpose of the uniform is :
Used uniforms may be available from the school.
During colder months, students may wear a navy skivvy or thermal under their polo shirts.
Children may wear non-uniform rain coats or jackets.
Jewellery is not encouraged.
Long hair should be tied back.

- To enhance the sense of identity, pride and belonging to the Otamarakau School community.
- To have student clothing that is functional, accessible, equitable and cost effective.
- To comply with the Community Survey.
