School Uniform
Uniform/Dress
Students are expected and encouraged to take pride in their general appearance. The correct uniform should be worn at all times. If this is not possible a written explanation must be provided.
The purpose of the uniform is :
Used uniforms may be available from the school.
During colder months, students may wear a navy skivvy or thermal under their polo shirts.
Children may wear non-uniform rain coats or jackets.
Jewellery is not encouraged.
Long hair should be tied back.
If there is a breach in the dress code, a letter and a copy of the school uniform policy is sent to the parents, giving them time to fix the issue. If there is still a breach in the dress code after two weeks, there is a phone call from the teacher. Following this it is referred to the principal, who makes an appointment to meet with the parents.

- To have student clothing that is functional, accessible, equitable and cost effective.
- To comply with the Community Survey.
