Uniform:

At Ōtamarākau School, we encourage our tamariki to take pride in themselves, their learning, and our kura. Wearing our school uniform helps create a strong sense of belonging and reminds our ākonga that they are part of a caring and supportive school whānau.

We want our uniform to be practical, comfortable, affordable, and easy for all children to wear while they learn, play, and grow together each day.Uniforms can be ordered through the school, and we may also have second hand uniforms available from time to time.  During the colder months, children are welcome to wear a navy thermal or skivvy underneath their polo shirt to help keep warm. We encourage simple jewellery and ask that long hair is tied back for comfort and safety.

​Most importantly, we want every child to feel comfortable, confident, and proud to be part of Ōtamarākau School.
