It is with great pride that I introduce myself as the Principal of Otamarakau School.

The school motto is a school with a view to the future and I believe the future for Otamarakau children is brilliant.

The school community supports the Otamarakau School's shared vision, culture and values, including educational initiatives such as integrating information communication technology throughout the school and inquiry teaching and learning.

At Otamarakau School we are entrusted and challenged with preparing our children for the future. We treat all our students as individuals and strive to nurture creativity, foster resilience, develop independence and provide the building blocks for a well-rounded, productive, healthy and happy life.

Otamarakau School offers small class sizes, plenty of teacher one on one time, an ICT rich environment (a laptop for every child), an upcoming surf academy and a positive and an attractive and well resourced learning environment.
