Kia Ora,
It is with great pride that I introduce myself as the relieving principal of Otamarakau School. My position is a short one and it is whilst Mr Cordery is on study leave.
The school motto is a school with a view to the future and from what I have seen the future for Otamarakau children is very bright!
Being new to Otamarakau School, one of the things that has stood out for me is just how opportunity rich this school is! Things such as lunch time sports, gym festival, 40hr famine, Peer Mediators, Top Schools, Zumba, swimming sports, African drummers, wheels day, clowns, school newspaper, cross country, radio competitions and community based technology - these are all things that have, or are currently, taking place during my first nine weeks here! From experience much bigger schools would be proud to offer such an extensive list.
Feel free to pop in, for a cuppa and a chit chat.
